August 30th and 31st. Ribadavia
One more year, Ribadavia returns to the past for a weekend to enjoy a celebration that will not lack anything. Music, medieval tournaments, theater, dance, falconry, crafts, exhibitions, competitions and other diverse activities will turn the Orensan town into a great historical-inspired festival declared of national tourist interest.

Abanca Galicia Classic Surf Pro
From August 28th to September 7th. Valdoviño
The Pantín Classic surfing competition takes this year a step forward to continue growing and consolidating in the prospect of world surfing. Under a new name, Abanca Galicia Classic Surf Pro, the competition will attract the best surfers of the international circuit to the beach of Pantín (Valdoviño) to participate in an event that will include three different modalities. The competition will begin this weekend and will last for 11 days.

Festa da Anguía e Mostra da Caña do País
From August 29th to 31st. Valga
29 editions have been celebrated at this festival in which Valga, a municipality in Pontevedra, pays tribute to the eel, one of the tastiest fish in the Ulla River. The feast, declared of tourist interest, has the added attraction of the sample of spirits of the country. The events will take place over three days, although the big day will be Saturday 31 with the tasting of eels.

Romería de San Ramón de Bealo
August 31st. Boiro
Pagan ancestral rites, the pursuit of fertility and the Catholic tradition blend into this pilgrimage that shows off being one of the oldest in Galicia and has been held continuously since the mid-eighteenth century. A multitude of people will meet again this August 31 at Campo dos Outeiriños to participate in a day of devotion and picnics.

Valor e mestría. Galicia como fútbol

Last days to visit an exhibition that addresses the importance and footprint of football in the community, and is located in the Cidade da Culture. Trophies, medals, posters, banners, scarves, t-shirts, boots, photographs and videos, among other materials, shape “Valor e mestría. Galicia como fútbol”, the exhibition that opened in mid-February and will close its doors on September 1.

Festa do Pan de Neda

Declared of tourist interest in 2003, the Festa do Pan de Neda is a celebration that serves to extol the quality of local bread with a great popular meal. In addition, on the eve, on August 31, there will be a musical appetizer with the Festival Noite de Bolos, which this year will feature the participation of Quenindiole, De Vacas and Xabier Díaz & Adufeiras de Salitre.

Festival Orixe
August 31st. Caldas de Reis
Music and solidarity will shake hands this Saturday at the Orixe festival. Aphonnic, Jhonander, Anecoid, Soüldiers and Thomas Dylan & Balea will bring the music to this event organized for the benefit of the Provincial Food Bank. To access the enabled site on the Caldas de Reis boardwalk, just donate a kilo of food.
