Rick Steves in Galicia

Rick Steves talks about Galicia and Santiago de Compostela

Rick Steves is “Mr. Travel to Europe” for many americans. He has his own TV program on PBS, his own radio program and of course the guidebooks that he is most known for.

In 2010 Rick Steves visited Galicia and Santiago de Compostela. He wrote a nice post on his blog about the town saying among other things:

I’m writing this today in Santiago de Compostela, in the northwest corner of Spain. I have a three-part agenda: see pilgrims reach their goal in front of the cathedral, explore the market, and buy some barnacles in the seafood section — then have them cooked for me, on the spot, in a café. Rick Steves

When he visited he also made this video for his TV program on the Camino de Santiago.
