The aim of the honey museum is to familiarize the visitor with the fascinating world of bees, showing bee-keeping as practiced by our ancestors as well as the variety of products and methods of modern bee-keeping. Located close to the Portodemouros reservoir, visitors can enjoy the beautiful surroundings, where they can find gardens full of nectar and botanical plants, a pool with a bridge, an aviary and an anthill. All this surrounded by hives with their bees. Discussions, courses, seminars, workshops, etc. are organized.

Opening Times: Monday-Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. In summer, it closes every day at 2:00 p.m. in the morning and 8:00 p.m. in the afternoon.
